My name is Kathrin, I am 30 years old and live in beautiful Hamburg-Eimsbüttel, near Osterstrasse. I have been a passionate strength athlete for years and love training with free weights. 

I'm actually a mathematician, but numbers just train your head. I needed physical acitivity, challenges and, of course, exercise as a counterbalance to work in the office. From initial visits to the gym and improving my basic fitness, a passion for targeted muscle training grew. For several years now, I've been concentrating on getting a little better, stronger and therefore healthier. For me, Workoutaholic is not just a company name: The Workoutaholic - that's me. 

In 2020 I finally decided to live out this passion for training also professionally, to license as a fitness trainer and share my knowledge and experience with others.

I would like to support you in achieving your personal fitness goals. But goals differ from person to person. That's why I consider your individual needs, regardless of whether you want to build muscles, lose weight or improve your basic fitness. I would also be happy to support you in creating a training plan that is specially optimized for you and give you valuable tips on how your diet will bring you closer to your goals. 

Building muscle

Lifting weights, strengthening your back, exercising your legs - strong muscles are the best base for an efficient body and a healthy life. I will help you to strengthen your muscles in a targeted manner and to work efficiently on problem areas.

Optimize weight

Do you want to lose weight or maybe even gain a few pounds in a healthy way? Then let's work on it! We perform specific exercises that stimulate your circulation and fat burning. At the same time we train your muscles and work together on your diet to prevent the famous yo-yo effect.

Outdoor training

Exercising outdoors strengthens the immune system and has been shown to make you happier. We use nature, public facilities or training equipment such as kettlebells for your personal exercise routine. Regardless of whether you want to focus on improving your strength or endurance.

Prevent bad posture 

Sitting for long periods in the office and general bad posture often promote so-called muscular imbalance and postural weaknesses such as a hunched back or hollow backs. Back and neck pains and therefore often headaches are the unpleasant consequences. I will help you to compensate for these imbalances through targeted muscle building and correct stretching.

Nutrition counseling

Just as important as the way we exercise is what we eat. I would be happy to advise you on how to adapt your diet to your goals. Above all, I want to make the often difficult transition to a new and healthier way of life a lot easier for you.

Workout conception

Are you looking for an expert who can help you plan effective training sessions to achieve your personal goals in the gym or outdoors? Who shows you how to use equipment and how to perform exercises correctly? I will sit down with you regularly and advise you on planning your workouts.

Frequently asked questions

What do I pay for personal training with you?

My regular hourly rate is 40 euros (e.g. for outdoor training or nutritional advice). If we train at your home, I will charge additional travel costs of half an hourly rate. There is also the option of training in a small studio that will be rented especially for this purpose. The room rent for this is 20 euros. Of course, you will receive an invoice for every training session.

 

Where do we train?

I offer different options. This includes outdoor training in the Wehbers Park in Eimsbüttel, renting a private studio close to the city center or directly at your home.

 

How often should I train with a personal trainer like you?

Ideally, we should meet regularly. I recommend exercising about three times a week, depending on your goals, of course. In order to achieve this optimally, as many training units as possible should take place with me. It makes sense to have consultation hours at regular intervals to evaluate your progress and make adjustments to your training plan. We should also meet if you find it difficult to motivate yourself or if you are unsure about how to perform the exercises.

 

What are realistic goals and how can I set them?

Even with intensive training, success does not come overnight. It is important that you become aware of what you can invest in regards to time and physically in improving your condition. When it comes to losing weight, many people give up before significant progress can be made. That is why I will talk to you about your personal wishes during our first meeting and help you set real and actually achievable goals based on my experience and scientific knowledge. Above all, however, I will help you not to lose sight of these goals.
